Primary 5 used Science Day to learn about the pH scale and how to use litmus paper to test the pH of different liquids. We were able to test six different liquids and identify them as acid, base or neutral. We made sure the test was fair by only changing one variable each time, and we recorded our findings in a table. It was a lot of fun and we certainly looked the part in our safety goggles!
