Primary 6
Primary 6 is a busy year and your child will have the chance to engage in lots of fun and exciting learning opportunities. We provide many cross curricular opportunities and bring our topics to life in many ways.
In Primary 6 we visit local post-primary schools, giving the children an insight into their journey ahead through participating in a range of activities such as musical performance visits and curriculum taster days. Our outdoor residential is always a highlight for many of our P6 pupils.
In Term 2 we begin preparations in class for the SEAG assessment through Literacy and Numeracy groups. We also develop their digital technology skill using iPads, laptops and Sphero robots.
In the upper end of Key Stage 2 there is opportunity to be selected to represent our school in our school sports teams.
