Science Day in P4!🔬🥚🦷
14th Mar 2026
Primary 4 have had a fantastic time taking part in Science Week with this year’s theme, “Curiosity: What’s Your Question?” 🔬✨
As part of our World Around Us topic, “A Fresh Start,” we have been learning all about the different parts of the human body. This week, our focus was on teeth and how to keep them healthy. 🦷🪥
We carried out a fun and exciting EGGperiment🥚 using an eggshell to represent the enamel on our teeth. We placed the eggshells into different liquids to investigate which drinks are good for our teeth and which ones can cause damage. The class loved making predictions and were very excited to observe and discuss the results!
We also explored how germs spread and why it is so important to wash our hands properly.✋When we placed a finger dipped in soap into the “germs,” we watched them quickly disperse, helping us see just how powerful soap can be in keeping us clean and healthy.
