P2 had a fantastic Science Day!
First, we investigated the best material for Humpty Dumpty’s safety jacket to keep him safe whilst sitting on the wall 🥚🧱. We tested cling film, tissues, bubble wrap and a straw nest. To make it a fair test, we kept the egg, height and method the same each time. After observing the results, we discovered that bubble wrap worked the best because it protected Humpty Dumpty the most!
Next, linking to our Spring topic 🌸❄️, we explored which material melts ice the fastest. We tested cold water, sugar and salt. We carefully observed what happened and found that salt melted the ice the quickest. P2 were amazing scientists today, making predictions, testing ideas and sharing their discoveries! 👩🔬👨🔬✨
