Primary 4 based their class assembly on the popular film Inside Out which is about a girl called Riley who is guided by five emotions - Anger, Fear, Disgust, Sadness and Joy - that live inside her mind. Riley has a happy life until she moves to a new city, where she struggles to adjust to her new life and her emotions take over.
After watching a little video clip, Primary 4 explained to us how we will all experience different feelings / emotions. Happiness is one of the best emotions - we feel happy when we do things that we enjoy or spend time with the people we love - there’s always a reason to smile! 😊
They also explained to us that it’s okay to feel sad, angry or anxious at times...and ways we can cope with these feelings.
Primary 4 reminded us that God created us to have feelings and that there are lots of verses in the Bible that can help us no matter how we feel. 📖
