Primary 2's next stop was China as part of our 'What a wonderful world' topic! We learnt lots of interesting facts about China and can say hello and please in Mandarin.
We enjoyed a wonderful tea party, where we tasted different Chinese foods. We took a vote and found that prawn crackers were the clear favourite!🥢 In play-based learning, we built boats and rafts for the Yangtze River and explored Chinese symbols by writing our names. We took part in a timed dumpling-moving challenge using chopsticks⏱️ and had lots of fun working together to build the Great Wall of China using construction blocks!
We loved our China adventure and can't wait to discover where we're off to next! 🌍
