As part of our World Around Us learning, P6 have been exploring the Victorians by looking at the British Empire in 1889. The children investigated how far the empire spread and what life was like during Queen Victoria’s reign, helping them understand how the past has shaped the world we live in today. Using iPads, they explored different countries within the empire, developing their geographical skills and curiosity about the wider world.
