3 months ago, P5 tried their hand at mummifying tomatoes. This was a tricky process and we have been keeping an eye on the tomatoes over the last few months to see what changes have happened to them. Today, we had one final look at them and we were delighted to find that our tomatoes were preserved! The control tomato had turned to mush, but the mummified tomatoes not only held their shape, but they had also changed texture and colour as well. We decided our experiment was a SUCCESS! Well done, Primary 5!
