To celebrate our birthdays we has a class party this afternoon. In keeping with our WAU topic of Roald Dahl and our class novel of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, we had an ice cream party hosted by Mrs Wonka herself! Last week, the children designed a 'Wonka-esque' ice-cream sundae with magical properties and today they got to make one to enjoy themselves. As an added bonus, we also got a visit from some gorgeous puppies that belong to one of our P5s! A huge thank you to Mrs Kerr for bringing them in and letting us see them. We finished our fabulous day by starting to watch the 2005 film Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. What a day!
