P3 had a very exciting visitor... a real-life pilot (Mr Rea) came in to chat with us, all about his job in the skies! đ¨âī¸đŠī¸
The class were fascinated as he talked about what it’s like to sit in the cockpit, how pilots prepare for flights and the many different types of planes flying around our world. We even learned a little bit about how planes stay up in the air (spoiler: it’s more than just magic! đ).
The boys and girls asked fantastic questions, everything from:
𥠓How high can a plane fly?”
𥠓What's the furthest country you've flown to?”
𥠓How long does it take to refuel?”
… and so many more!
It was a wonderful chance to CONNECT our learning with the real world and who knows, we may even have some future pilots sitting in P3 right now! âī¸đ
