Primary 2 read the story of Mr Bump, and found out that his job is working in an Apple Orchard.🍎🍏 In our World Around Us this week, we discussed what an apple orchard is and where they might be found in Northern Ireland. We explored the different parts of an apple and completed an experiment on why apples brown. We tested this with 6 different covers: milk 🥛 , baking soda, lemon juice 🧃 , water, vinegar, and nothing! Can you guess which one didn’t brown?👀 Then to finish off, we tried some different apples with a little treat🍫
