Eve from Scripture Union came into school today to tell Primary 1 the story of creation. Eve asked P1 to make an animal from play dough - we had everything from a bee to an elephant. Afterwards, Eve told us the story of creation using some items from her basket - we loved the part with the bubbles! To see if we had been listening really carefully, Eve asked P1 to order the pictures and match them to what God had created each day. To finish the lesson, we listened to the song “Creator God,” did some more creative work with the dough and created a beautiful canvas for our classroom (to remind us that we are special and unique) with our fingerprints too!
