Today was Outdoor Classroom Day and Primary 1 took their numeracy lesson on 3D shapes (sphere, cube, cuboid, cylinder, pyramid and cone) outdoors!
When Miss Montgomery called out a shape, P1 had to run to the correct hoop and afterwards we made beach huts (linking in with our WAU topic) using our 3D shapes. We were able to tell our friends which shapes we had used in our creative designs!
