On Friday, P5 went outside to work on writing poems with similes and metaphors. We learned about imagery and thought of some similes and metaphors of our own, before acting some of these out together. It was good fun pretending to be as fast as lightning and as tall as a tree! We practised by writing a poem together describing Miss Trunchbull from Matilda and then we wrote poems of our own about the BFG-we have been as busy as bees!
