Over the past two weeks in assembly, Mr Heyburn has been reminding the children of our school values.
On Friday, we focused on “joy” and how at Hazelbank, we want our school to be a place of happiness. Mr Heyburn asked us to be “joy detectives” - looking for joy in every situation that we find ourselves in! Challenge accepted? 😁👍🏻
As a school, we also learned a memory verse from Proverbs Chapter 17 v 22 where the Bible says “A cheerful heart is like good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.” 📖
