For Numeracy Day, Mr Heyburn asked our class to complete a special challenge...to use Lego bricks to build a city. We used "Make a model" (one of our problem solving strategies) to complete the activity. Primary 1 were required to recognise numbers within 10, count carefully up to 10 and we even used different shaped Lego bricks; making our cities really unique! We also worked so well with a partner too - well done, Primary 1!
