P3 have been busy developing their measuring skills in maths by learning how to accurately measure in centimetres. The children practised using rulers correctly, making sure they lined up items carefully and read the measurements accurately.
They measured a variety of items around the classroom and had lots of fun creating playdough snakes for their partners to measure, comparing lengths and checking their answers together. To finish, the children searched for and sorted items that were different lengths.
