Today, Primary 2 looked at three new High Frequency Words, ‘find’, ‘use’ and ‘may’. We played a game called “Beat the Clock”⏰, where we had to say all of our HFW learnt recently to the clock! We were so good at this and said them all in just 45 seconds… Miss Wharry had us doing a lot of activities to try and learn our HFW- such as using our magic pens, clapping the letters and through a chant👏.
Then we completed three activities: Sight Word Graph, Threading the Word with the beads alongside sentence writing✏️, and Sight Word Bingo! We finished off by spinning the wheel and saying the word, as well as an exit ticket to break time! Well done Primary 2👏
