P5 have been busy growing grannies in WAU lessons this week! We were inspired by the Roald Dahl book 'George's Marvellous Medicine', in which George makes a potion that causes his granny to grow and grow and grow! We made a simple potion of bicarbonate of soda and vinegar and used this to inflate our balloons, which we had drawn granny faces onto! It was great fun and we all managed to successfully grow a granny. Please note: no grannies were harmed in the making of this experiment!
