Primary 5 finished off our CSI WAU topic today by solving a crime! Mrs. Little's plant had been taken from her room, so P5 had to process some clues in order to eliminate suspects. Thankfully, our dear Principal (The Bearded Barbarian) was not the culprit this time! After examining fingerprints and handwriting, comparing ink samples, testing pH levels and measuring shoeprints, P5 were able to determine that the culprit was none other than Mrs. McClean! When confronted, Mrs. McClean explained that she had simply taken the plant to give it some much needed TLC after Mrs. Little left it in school over Easter and nearly killed it. Oops! The children were wonderful CSIs today and had great fun doing this activity, which was made possible thanks to the other staff members who were such good sports about taking part.
