Primary 1 had Outdoor Play today and enjoyed the various activities! After lunch, P1 went outside again to participate in a 2D shape treasure hunt! 👀 We also looked for 2D shapes in our school grounds and took photos of these. To finish off the lesson, P1 were divided into smaller groups and encouraged to choose a 2D shape to make with natural materials. 🍃🍁
Primary 2 went foraging for natural materials. Mrs Brown set P2 a challenge where they had to order them from shortest to longest...but the wind was not on our side! Through this activity, P2 were developing the language of comparison. 🍃🍁
Primary 3 listened to the story of “We’re going on a bear hunt!” The children had to find bears that were hidden around our school grounds but that wasn’t all...Numeracy was outdoors too! The children were set the challenge of building their number bonds to 10 with sticks. As part of our “Up, up and away!” WAU topic, P3 have been finding out about parachutes. They had lots of fun playing parachute games too. 🪂
